5ml rubbing alcohol, 2.5 Refined glycerin (optional),  50 ml aloe vera gel, 10 drops cinnamon essential oil, 10 drops tea tree essential oil, De mineralized water of ph 7 other essential oils (just for scent) like Jasmine,Lemon,Aloe vera, Neem etc. as per requirement

Can we use Alcohol free Hand sanitizer
Many healthcare companies have shown that alcohol-free hand sanitizers may not kill all types of germs, bacteria, & viruses. Alcohol-free hand sanitizers contain quaternary ammonium compounds (called benzalkonium chloride) instead of alcohol to reduce microbes. These agents are less effective than alcohol. But Alcohol containing sanitizer is most preferable.

We use rubbing alcohol in hand sanitizer gels like iso propyl alcohol, Extra neutral alcohol, Ethyl alcohol (Ethanol)  in concentration of 70%, 62% as per requirement. Also we can add other herbal germ kill extracts And other "chemicals" depending on the brand. ... Hand sanitizer gels would trick me into applying alcohol (in spite of containing sometimes 60% less alcohol) a hundred times more than I do with regular rubbing alcohol.

Polymers used in Herbal hand sanitizer

We can use polymer like Acrypol 956, Acrypol 934, Acrypol 936 in concentration of 0.3% w/w in 60 to 70 % of rubbing Alcohol strength of hand sanitizer. Manufacturer of these polymers is Corel pharma located in Ahmdabad (Gujrat). One of the most trusted vendor of many polymers used in cosmetic & herbal industries.

Refined Glycerin also used for emollient & moisturizer to the skin either it is sensitive or smooth.


Neutralization of Herbal hand sanitizer:-

We can neutralize this formulation with Tri ethanolamine ( T.E.A). till pH between 6 to 7.
Or Amino methyl propanol will use in case of 70% or above 70% concentration of rubbimg alcohol.

We can find expected Viscosity with this method & process.

After done all this manufacturing procedure we add De mineralized water for volume makeup as per our standardization of product.
